The International Academy of Public Safety (IAPS) is pleased to announce that Dr. Mitch Javidi has joined the academy as its new President and Chief Marketing Officer.

Dr. Javidi is also an Adjunct Professor of business strategy & market research at both North Carolina State and Illinois State Universities. He is a member of the Academy of Outstanding Teachers & Scholars and has received prominent acclaim for his strategic planning initiatives. Dr. Javidi is forward-thinking and process-outcome focused. His energetic leadership has been recognized for high-profile marketing and business turnaround achievements affecting revenue, stability and profitability for many businesses. As a strategic and creative leader, he has a proven ability to catapult communication and marketing worldwide, spearhead operations and drive goal achievement through change management and innovations. He has served more than 1,800 clients and has produced more than 2,780 corporate reports over the last 25 years. Additionally, he has more than 60 articles and book chapters with more than 400 national and international presentations to his credit. Dr. Javidi became an honorary member of the United States Department of Defense Special Operations in 1999 and was named “Person of the Year” by the National Society of Accountants in 1998.
